This study aimed to determine if students enrolled as part of the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program have higher educational attainment and completion rates than those students attending traditional schools in the Milwaukee Public School System.
The results, which were found through tracking students in both fields and using factors such as neighborhood and demographics, found that there is evidence of students who are a part of the MPCP have higher levels of educational attainment that similar groups in traditional public schools.
The researchers measured college experience and outcomes to come to this determination.
